FALL WITH ME Synopsis:

Eleven months ago, bartender and weird-shirt-wearing extraordinaire Roxy and Officer Reece Anders had a one night stand. Well, kind of. She’s been in love with him since she was fifteen, and he wishes that night they shared never happened. She’s sworn him off forever, but the past and future collide, forcing her to rely on the one man who broke her heart not once, but twice.

Her best friend since birth has been in a long-term care facility since he became a victim of a hate crime years ago, and the person who put him in there is out of prison and wanting to make amends with him and Roxy. She’s not sure she has room for forgiveness in her and when she begins to receive frightening messages and is on the receiving end of escalating violence, she thinks she knows who is to blame. The man who already destroyed one life already.

But Reece isn’t convinced. The threats are too personal, and even if Roxy doesn’t believe him, he’s not willing to let anyone hurt her. Including himself. He’s already messed up more than once when it comes to Roxy and he’s not going to let history repeat itself.

Goodreads summary:

“A line that should never be crossed is about to be breached.

It puts this entire castle in jeopardy—and the life of your friend.”

From the throne of glass rules a king with a fist of iron and a soul as black as pitch. Assassin Celaena Sardothien won a brutal contest to become his Champion. Yet Celaena is far from loyal to the crown. She hides her secret vigilantly; she knows that the man she serves is bent on evil.

Keeping up the deadly charade becomes increasingly difficult when Celaena realizes she is not the only one seeking justice. As she tries to untangle the mysteries buried deep within the glass castle, her closest relationships suffer. It seems no one is above questioning her allegiances—not the Crown Prince Dorian; not Chaol, the Captain of the Guard; not even her best friend, Nehemia, a foreign princess with a rebel heart.

Then one terrible night, the secrets they have all been keeping lead to an unspeakable tragedy. As Celaena’s world shatters, she will be forced to give up the very thing most precious to her and decide once and for all where her true loyalties lie…and whom she is ultimately willing to fight for.

No-So-Happy Monday For This Blogger

Hi all.

So, as you can tell from the header, today is not a good day for me. Blogging wise, that is. Since I just moved into a new apartment (so that means shared WiFi), the internet has been suuuper spotty and goes out whenever it feels like it. It’s a tempermental butt when it wants to be. And unfortunately today was one of those days.

I had a review written and ready to post and right when I clicked post, my internet vanished, taking my lovely post with it. Where I would normally share a few choice words with my internet provider and then rewrite the post, I absolutely do not have the energy to do so.

I’m back in school now which means I am swamped with homework (literally. It has taken me two hours on this Russian language homework…and counting). So, posts may slow down a bit, but I can assure you, the posts will not stop!

I will try my absolute best to post the review I had planned on posting today but instead post it tomorrow. No guarentees seeing as I never know how far my homework will take me, or how much energy it sucks out of me. I also have a very special author interview coming up too. So, like I said, things are still going to be posted.. Just not as often as I’d like.

Hopefully you all can understand!

Be well,
