Blog’s 1st Birthday + RT Event Recap + Giveaway!

Hey, all!

The header is true! My blog is a year old today! Aw, they grow up so fast. And I literally just got back from RT Booklovers Convention last night so I’m still recovering. However, I wanted to do something special to commemorate this day and to celebrate!

First and foremost, I have to give a huge shoutout to my blogger friends, Sara (What A Nerd Girl Says) and Sylvia (Fangirlfeeels) because without their support and advice, I would have a much harder time figuring out all this blogger business. You guys are the literal best.

With one year of blogging under my belt, I’m planning to immerse myself even more into my blog and making sure it gets the love and care I want to devote. After attending the RT Booklovers Convention, I’m reminded just how much bloggers (and readers alike) impact authors and their careers. I mean, let’s face it, authors don’t have a job without us. But there’s a special bond that authors share with all of us too. Being a blogger feels like my way of giving back to them (and also the readers). So, thank you to those who have followed me this far, to new ones following me now, and to future ones who will stumble blindly onto my blog and deem me worthy of a follow. You guys are rock stars.

Now, as I said before, I just came back from Dallas, Texas where RT Booklovers Convention was happening this year and, my god, it was a fantastic event. I only went one day (Teen Day), but I had so much fun. The signing room was filled with hundreds of amazing authors who were all ready to have a chat and sign some books. Everyone there was happy to be there celebrating books. It was an amazing atmosphere to be in. You can check out some of the photos I posted of the event and my travels on my Instagram using the hashtag #EpicFangirlRoadTrip!

While at the Teen Day Party I was able to score some extra swag. I had contemplated whether or not I should have a giveaway for the extra swag, and then when I was notified that today is my blog’s birthday! So, now I HAD to do this giveaway.

This is my thanks to everyone who has followed so far. Up for grabs is two books (one hardcover if that entices you), a signed poster, signed bookmarks, wristbands, pins, buttons, and other cool stuff.

Good luck!

Goodreads Summary:

When Gia Montgomery’s boyfriend, Bradley, dumps her in the parking lot of her high school prom, she has to think fast. After all, she’d been telling her friends about him for months now. This was supposed to be the night she proved he existed. So when she sees a cute guy waiting to pick up his sister, she enlists his help. The task is simple: be her fill-in boyfriend— two hours, zero commitment, a few white lies. After that, she can win back the real Bradley.

The problem is that days after prom, it’s not the real Bradley she’s thinking about, but the stand-in. The one whose name she doesn’t even know. But tracking him down doesn’t mean they’re done faking a relationship. Gia owes him a favor and his sister intends to see that he collects: his ex-girlfriend’s graduation party — three hours, zero commitment, a few white lies.

Just when Gia begins to wonder if she could turn her fake boyfriend into a real one, Bradley comes waltzing back into her life, exposing her lie, and threatening to destroy her friendships and her new-found relationship.

Goodreads Summary:

The Fates are cackling their bony asses off…

It’s been a year since Seth made the deal with the gods that pledged his life to them. And so far, the jobs they’ve given him have been violent and bloody–which is kind of all right with him. But now Apollo has something else in mind for Seth. He’s got to play protector while keeping his hands and fingers off, and for someone who really has a problem with restraint, this new assignment might be the most challenging yet.

Josie has no idea what this crazy hot guy’s deal might be, but it’s a good bet that his arrival means the new life she started after leaving home is about to be thrown into an Olympian-sized blender turned up to puree. Either Josie is going insane or a nightmare straight out of ancient myth is gunning for her.

But it might be the unlikely attraction simmering between her and the golden-eyed, secret-keeping Seth that may prove to be the most dangerous thing of all.

Because history has once again been flipped to repeat.

Book 1 in the new adult paranormal TITAN series, spin-off to the best selling COVENANT series.

Goodreads Summary:

The New York Times and USA Today bestselling Marked Men series continues with this sizzling, sexy story of love, heartbreak, fate, and second chances.

After the only girl he ever loved told him that he would never be enough, Rowdy St. James knocked the Texas dust off his boots and set out to live up to his nickname. A good ol’ boy looking for good times and good friends, Rowdy refuses to take anything too seriously, especially when it comes to the opposite sex. Burned by love once, he isn’t going to let himself trust a woman again. But that’s before his new co-worker arrives, a ghost from the past who’s suddenly making him question every lesson he ever learned.

Salem Cruz grew up in house with too many rules and too little fun—a world of unhappiness she couldn’t wait to forget. But one nice thing from childhood has stayed with her; the memory of the sweet, blue-eyed boy next door who’d been head over heels in love with her little sister.

Now, fate and an old friend have brought her and Rowdy together, and Salem is determined to show him that once upon a time he picked the wrong sister. A mission that is working perfectly—until the one person that ties them together appears, threatening to tear them apart for good.
